Visit our Booking page, choose a tour and dates, complete the booking form, and submit. We will confirm availability within 24 hours.

All guided activities, park permits, group safety equipment, accommodation listed in the itinerary, and most meals (typically all breakfasts and dinners). Not included: travel to/from the starting point, personal hiking gear, alcohol, gratuities, and travel insurance.

Every tour lists a difficulty rating: Easy (day hikes, under 4 miles), Moderate (58 miles, some elevation), and Challenging (10+ miles, sustained elevation). Most popular tours are Easy to Moderate suitable for anyone in good general health.

Full credit if cancelled 30+ days before tour. Partial credit 1529 days before. Wildwood Trails reserves the right to cancel due to safety concerns or unforeseen events. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Yes! Many of our tours welcome children, and we offer dedicated family-friendly trips designed for ages 6 and up. All our guides are Wilderness First Responder certified, and we maintain low guest-to-guide ratios on family tours.

After booking you will receive a tour-specific packing list. Standard items include: broken-in hiking boots, moisture-wicking clothing layers, rain jacket, 2530L daypack, refillable water bottles, sun protection, headlamp, and personal toiletries. We provide all group gear (tents, cookware, navigation, first-aid).

Each tour has a specified meeting point near a major airport. We provide detailed transit information after booking. Most guests fly into the nearest hub and arrange a short shuttle, rental car, or our optional pre-tour transfer service.

Absolutely. We design custom expeditions for families, friend groups, and corporate retreats. Contact us with your preferences and we will craft a tailored itinerary within 5 business days.

We hike rain or shine, but in dangerous weather (lightning, severe storms) guides will adapt the itinerary or shelter as needed. Tours are only cancelled for genuine safety reasons.

Yes vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, halal, and most allergies are easily accommodated. Note your needs on the booking form and we will confirm with our culinary team.

Not required, but strongly recommended especially trip cancellation, medical evacuation, and adventure activity coverage. We can recommend trusted providers upon request.
